This position is crucial for the success of our retail operations. As a Customer Service Specialist, you will collaborate closely with wholesale and retail customers to understand their needs, provide answers to their inquiries about Sherwin-Williams products, and recommend the ideal solutions.

You will be responsible for promptly addressing customer concerns to ensure maximum satisfaction, while staying updated on product features and maintaining high-quality visual standards within the store. Achieving excellent customer service is paramount, along with consistently meeting the store's sales goals.

The selected individual will be expected to work at the following locations:
  • Store , located at 3813 Dewey St, Manitowoc, WI, 54220
  • Store , located at 1704 Erie Ave, Sheboygan, WI, 53081
As a Customer Service Specialist, your duties will involve interacting with customers of all ages and handling various payment methods, electronic equipment, personal information, merchandise, and other valuable items. Therefore, a review of criminal history is essential to safeguard the business and its reputation while ensuring the safety of customers, staff, and the general public.

  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
  • Assist customers both in person and over the phone by identifying their needs and recommending appropriate products and services.
  • Build productive trust relationships with wholesale and retail customers.
  • Process sales transactions accurately and in line with company policies.
  • Achieve sales goals monthly, quarterly, and yearly.
  • Maintain organized work order files and formulas.
  • Retrieve products from the sales floor or warehouse as needed.
  • Tint and mix products to customer specifications.
  • Stock shelves and create attractive product displays.
  • Ensure cleanliness of store equipment.
  • Assist with loading and unloading delivery trucks.
  • Maintain presentable and stocked areas of the store.
  • Stay knowledgeable about product offerings and discuss available options.
  • Comply with inventory control procedures.
  • Propose ideas to enhance sales and service.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must have legal authorization to work in the country without needing sponsorship.
  • Must possess a valid, unrestricted driver's license.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs frequently and 70 lbs occasionally, with or without accommodation.
  • Willingness to work scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends, with or without accommodation.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • At least one year of experience in a delivery, retail, or customer service role.
  • Experience selling paint and related products.
  • Experience operating tinting and mixing equipment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in more than one language, especially Spanish.
