Join our dynamic team as a Customer Service Specialist. In this role, you will engage with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions using Sherwin-Williams products. Your mission will be to ensure exceptional client satisfaction while helping us meet our sales goals.

This part-time position is based at Store , located at 100 Turks Bay Ln, Lafayette, LA 70507.

As a Customer Service Specialist, your responsibilities will include:
  • Delivering outstanding customer service to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Assisting customers both in person and over the phone to identify their needs and recommend appropriate products.
  • Building trustful relationships with wholesale and retail customers.
  • Accurately processing sales transactions in compliance with company policies.
  • Aiming to achieve monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales goals.
  • Maintaining accurate work order files and product formulas.
  • Retrieving products from sales floors or warehouses and mixing products to customer specifications.
  • Stocking shelves, setting up displays, and keeping the store equipment clean.
  • Loading and unloading delivery trucks and assisting with deliveries as needed.
  • Maintaining assigned areas in an organized and presentable condition.
  • Staying knowledgeable about product offerings and discussing available options with customers.
  • Following inventory control procedures and suggesting ways to enhance sales.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for visa status.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in English and Spanish.
  • Must be capable of retrieving materials from shelves and able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and 70 lbs. occasionally.
  • Must be willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • At least one (1) year of experience in customer service, retail, or delivery roles.
  • Experience in selling paint and paint-related products.
  • Familiarity with operating tinting and mixing equipment.
