Join our team as a Customer Service Specialist, where you will collaborate with both wholesale and retail customers to identify their needs and provide expert advice on Sherwin-Williams products. Your primary focus will be to deliver exceptional customer service while actively working towards achieving the store's sales goals and ensuring maximum client satisfaction.
This full-time position offers a starting pay rate of $17.05/hr. You will be expected to work at Store , located at: 4150 Lafayette Rd., Indianapolis, IN 46254.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
- Assisting customers in person and over the phone by understanding their needs and providing suitable product recommendations.
- Building strong, trustworthy relationships with wholesale and retail customers.
- Accurately processing sales transactions while adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Meeting and exceeding monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales goals.
- Maintaining organized work order files and product formulas.
- Pulling products from the sales floor or warehouse and mixing products to customer specifications as needed.
- Stocking shelves and arranging product displays.
- Assisting with maintaining store cleanliness and equipment.
- Loading/unloading delivery trucks and making deliveries as needed.
- Keeping assigned areas stocked and visually appealing.
- Staying informed about product offerings and available options.
- Complying with inventory control procedures and suggesting improvements for sales strategies.
Minimum Requirements: - Must be at least eighteen (18) years old.
- Legally authorized to work in the country of employment without requiring sponsorship for a work visa now or in the future.
- Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English and Spanish.
- Valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
- Able to retrieve materials from shelves and lift/carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and 70 lbs. on occasion, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Willing to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Preferred Qualifications: - High School diploma or GED is preferred.
- At least one (1) year of experience in a delivery, retail, or customer service position.
- Previous experience selling paint and related products is a plus.
- Experience operating tinting and mixing equipment is desirable.
