As a Customer Service Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring our customers have the best experience possible by assessing their needs and providing tailored solutions with our Sherwin-Williams products. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Delivering exceptional customer service through effective sales techniques.
  • Engaging with customers in person and over the phone to understand their needs and suggest suitable products and services.
  • Building trusting relationships with wholesale and retail customers.
  • Accurately processing sales transactions in accordance with policies.
  • Aiming to meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales goals.
  • Maintaining precise work order files and formulas.
  • Retrieving products from the sales floor or warehouse as needed.
  • Mixing and tinting products to customer specifications.
  • Restocking shelves and setting up attractive displays.
  • Cleaning and maintaining store equipment.
  • Loading and unloading delivery trucks, as well as assisting with deliveries when required.
  • Ensuring assigned areas are stocked and presentable.
  • Keeping up-to-date with available products and options for customers.
  • Adhering to inventory control procedures.
  • Proposing improvements to enhance sales operations.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years old.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country without requiring sponsorship.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish, with strong communication skills.
  • Must possess a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
  • Ability to lift and carry materials frequently up to 50 lbs, and up to 70 lbs on occasion.
  • Availability to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • If internal, a recent performance appraisal rating of at least meets expectations.
  • If internal, completion of all mandatory HR Cloud eLearning courses is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • At least one (1) year of experience in a delivery, retail, or customer service role.
  • Experience selling paint and related products.
  • Familiarity with operating tinting and mixing equipment.
