A Day in the Life:
This position serves as a primary point of contact for customers, providing comprehensive product/service information, resolving emerging issues, and managing contracts. The Specialist acts as an advocate for both the customer and Bunge, ensuring customer needs and contract-related requests are handled efficiently and profitably, while maintaining excellent service standards and high customer satisfaction.
What You'll Be Doing:
Customer Service:
o Provide exceptional customer service via phone and email, building rapport and addressing inquiries efficiently.
o Support positive customer experiences by coordinating shipment and order changes based on delivery windows, inventory availability, and customer requirements.
o Resolve product or service problems: clarify complaints, determine root causes, explain solutions, expedite corrections, and follow up to ensure resolution.
o Proactively monitor customer accounts for potential issues and opportunities for improvement.
o Conduct bi-monthly customer check-ins to enhance customer experience and address any concerns.
o Monitor complaint entry into CRM for accuracy and respond to complaints promptly.
Contract Management:
o Perform total contract management, including quoting and pricing within established margin goals.
o Ensure accurate and timely system entry of contracts and maintain contract balance reports.
o Manage contract drag, including running and distributing reports, rolling contracts forward with appropriate charges, and monitoring contracts to ensure FIFO (First-In, First-Out).
o Monitor auto-quotes to validate published prices and customer acceptance.
o Maintain and update pricing targets and price lists in the system, tracking validity periods for all customer accounts and segments.
o Ensure adherence to pricing policies and procedures, obtaining necessary approvals for deviations.
o Investigate and resolve price discrepancies, demonstrating a thorough understanding of price structures, margins, and costs within the SAP price routine.
o Run and monitor daily order and contract audit reports to identify and resolve input errors or data gaps.
o Respond to basic quote and price inquiries.
o Support RFP (Request for Proposal) processes as needed.
Collaboration and Communication:
o Serve as a liaison between the customer and internal teams (Commercial, Operations, Product Management, Supply Chain, Pricing Management, Marketing, and R&D).
o Assist Customer Service Supervisor with escalations and complex issue resolution.
o Share best practices and maintain clear communication across teams.
Other:
o Travel to Bunge facilities and customer meetings as required.
Skills/Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's degree with 0-2 years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Prior successful customer service experience and/or a proven track record of accomplishments in servicing internal and external customers.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (especially Excel and Word).
Experience with SAP, and Tableau is a plus.
Familiarity with CBOT exchange and futures/basis trading is a plus.
Experience in agribusiness or a related industry is a plus.
