We are looking for a dedicated and relationship-driven Customer Account Specialist to manage and support our valued existing customers. In this role, you'll serve as the main point of contact for day-to-day account needs-handling reorders, providing product support, and identifying opportunities to offer additional value. This is not a cold-calling position; it's all about maintaining strong, long-term customer relationships and ensuring an outstanding experience. Reporting directly to the VP of Sales.

  • Manage a portfolio of existing customers to ensure satisfaction, retention, and continued business.
  • Proactively monitor customer buying cycles and follow up to encourage timely reorders of consumable products.
  • Recommend complementary or upgraded products based on customer history and preferences.
  • Prepare quotes, enter and track orders, and follow through on delivery and billing status.
  • Meet performance goals related to sales growth, reorder frequency, and customer engagement.
  • Serve as the go-to resource for customer inquiries, product questions, and basic technical support.
  • Resolve any order issues, discrepancies, or delivery concerns quickly and professionally.
  • Coordinate with internal departments (logistics, warehouse, billing) to ensure smooth customer interactions.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and notes in CRM and order systems.

  • 2+ years in a customer-facing role (account management, inside sales, or customer service).
  • Excellent phone and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience with CRM systems and order processing platforms.
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Preferred Experience:
  • Background in consumable products (e.g., office supplies, food/beverage, cleaning, industrial).
  • Familiarity with B2B customer relationships and regular order cycles.
  • Working knowledge of ERP/order fulfillment systems.
