In this position, you will engage with wholesale and retail customers to identify their needs, provide answers to their inquiries about Sherwin-Williams products, and suggest the best solutions. Your commitment to resolving customer concerns promptly will help ensure maximum client satisfaction, while your knowledge of product features will contribute to maintaining our store's high-quality visual standards.
As a Customer Service Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Delivering outstanding customer service to achieve store sales goals.
- Interacting with customers both in-person and over the phone to assess their needs and recommend products and services.
- Establishing and nurturing productive relationships with both wholesale and retail clientele.
- Accurately processing sales transactions in line with company policies.
- Meeting monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales targets.
- Maintaining thorough records of work orders and formulas.
- Ensuring products are pulled from sales floor or warehouse as required.
- Tinting and mixing products to meet customer specifications when necessary.
- Restocking shelves and arranging attractive displays.
- Keeping store equipment clean and in good working condition.
- Loading and unloading delivery trucks as needed.
- Assisting with deliveries as required.
- Maintaining an organized and appealing store environment.
- Remaining informed about available products and discussing options with customers.
- Adhering to inventory control guidelines.
- Offering suggestions to improve sales performance.
Minimum Requirements: - Applicants must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
- Legal authorization to work in the country of employment without sponsorship is required.
- Ability to lift and carry materials frequently up to 50 lbs. and up to 70 lbs. on occasion, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Willingness to work scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Preferred Qualifications: - Possession of a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
- A High School diploma or GED is preferred.
- At least one (1) year of experience in a delivery, retail, or customer service role.
- Previous experience in selling paint and related products is an advantage.
- Experience operating tinting and mixing equipment is preferred.
- Ability to communicate in more than one language, particularly Spanish, is a plus.
