This position will be located in Champaign, IL.
Purpose: Responds to incoming mail and telephone inquiries including order placement, product availability, shipments, pricing, expediting, invoicing, consignment and special projects.
Key Responsibilities - Respond to customer inquiries (phone, email, fax) both internal and external
- Order entry and schedule changes
- Maintain forecast/schedule for long lead time
- Accurate Invoicing
- Shipping/Receiving
- Consignment inventory reconciliation/invoicing
- Follow up on orders with production, shipping, logistics and problem solving
Qualifications & Experience: Associates Degree preferred
Related experience: Sales Support, Customer Service, Logistics, Scheduling, Inventory Management
Skills: Active listening, Excellent communication, both written and verbal, Customer service, High attention to detail, Ability to work independently and in fast-pace environment with sense of urgency, Problem-solving, Organizational and follow-up skills, Prioritization skills, Data management, including sharing of information with the appropriate parties at the right time.
This position reports to a Sales Supervisor. The salary range for this position is $45,000 - $55,000 USD Annual. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including experience, education and location.
