Essential Responsibilities: - Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction with excellent service.
- Assist customers both in-person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting suitable products and services.
- Build trusting relationships with wholesale and retail customers.
- Accurately process sales transactions according to policies.
- Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales goals.
- Maintain organized work order files and formulas.
- Retrieve and prepare products for customer orders.
- Mix and tint products to customer specifications as needed.
- Stock shelves and create appealing displays.
- Keep store equipment clean and organized.
- Assist with loading/unloading delivery trucks.
- Help with deliveries as necessary.
- Maintain a well-stocked and organized area of the store.
- Continuously learn about products and options available to customers.
- Follow inventory control procedures.
- Propose strategies to enhance sales.
Minimum Requirements: - Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
- Authorized to work in the country without sponsorship.
- Valid, unrestricted Driver's License required.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and 70 lbs. occasionally.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- If you are already with Sherwin-Williams, a recent performance appraisal rating of at least 'meets expectations' is required.
- Completion of required HR Cloud eLearning for your current position is necessary if already employed with us.
Preferred Qualifications: - High School diploma or GED.
- At least one (1) year of experience in delivery, retail, or customer service.
- Experience selling paint and related products.
- Ability to operate tinting and mixing equipment.
- Fluent in more than one language, especially Spanish.
