ROLE DESCRIPTION:

As a Customer Service Representative with Edison Valerio Insurance Agency Inc., you will generate the kind of exceptional customer experiences that reinforce the growth of a successful insurance agency. You will enhance your career while resolving customer inquiries, coordinating with other agency team members, and anticipating the needs of the community members you support. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing outstanding service to our clients, assisting them with their insurance needs, and ensuring a smooth experience throughout the policy lifecycle. RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Answer customer inquiries and provide policy information.
  • Assist customers with policy changes and updates.
  • Make daily calls to policies non-pay (40-50 calls per day).
  • Process insurance claims and follow up with customers.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions.
  • Respond promptly to client inquiries regarding insurance policies, claims, coverage options, and billing.
  • Provide accurate information and guidance on various insurance products, including auto, home, life, and health insurance.
  • Assist clients with policy renewals, changes, and cancellations in accordance with agency procedures.
  • Maintain detailed records of client interactions and transactions in our agency management system.
  • Collaborate with agents and underwriters to support clients' needs and facilitate claims processing.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, changes in insurance regulations, and new products to better serve clients.
  • Educate clients on risk management and insurance best practices.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented and able to multitask.
  • Previous customer service experience preferred.
  • Previous experience in customer service, preferably in the insurance industry.
  • Knowledge of insurance products and services is a significant advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a customer-focused attitude.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in using customer service software, agency management systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Insurance license (or willingness to obtain one) is preferred.
Compensation: $17,680.00 - $41,600.00 per year
