This Customer Service Representative position is responsible for preparing for and supervising during third-party facility rental use at Shawnee Town Hall. The position monitors renter use to ensure rules and procedures are followed. There is direct interaction with customers and department personnel. This is a non-exempt, variable position and is not eligible for any City benefits.
The pay for this position begins at $14.00 per hour. There is a $1.00 per hour shift differential for weekend shifts.Position ResponsibilitiesFacility Preparation and Maintenance. Prepares facilities for activities (e.g., setting up chairs and tables, and other equipment) as directed. Performs light maintenance (e.g., collecting trash around and in the facility, and occasional vacuuming
Rental Use Oversight. Opens facility as per rental schedule, adjusts room set-up and or building temperature as requested by renter. Ensures compliance with regulations and practices to maintain safe, legal and appropriate facility use.
Other Duties. May be requested to facilitate Shawnee Farmer's Market. May be requested to assist with special event activities.
Minimum Qualifications - Must be 18 years of age.
- Must have a minimum of two (2) years experience requiring public contact and customer service.

Work Schedule Responsibilities require varied shifts working some day, but mainly evening and weekend hours.
