Position Purpose

Responsible for working with outside sales team to drive sales growth. Proactively contact customers to obtain sales. Follow up on quotes to close and responsible for entering quotes and orders into the system. Update other applications on a day-to-day basis.

Job Functions
  • Responsible for timely response and coordination of activities between customer accounts, regional sales, service representative and all departments. Maintains favorable working relationships with all parties.
  • Works with customers, Outside Sales to obtain sales orders for aftermarket parts.
  • Maintains accurate files of all assigned accounts and customer database information on assigned accounts.
  • Proactively call customers to increase sales results.
  • Actively assist with resolutions of accounts receivable problems.
  • Prepares routine cost estimates as required and provides follow-up on principal cost requests.
  • Processes formal complaints, customer returns, and customer adjustments in a timely manner.
  • Must be proficient in legibly documenting all information as required to satisfactorily handle customer accounts.
  • Perform special projects and duties as required.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Relevant bachelor's degree (four-year college or university) is preferred and 2 years of comparable work experience in related field.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in customer services industrial parts sales.
  • Knowledgeable in MS programs (i.e., Excel, Word). CRM understanding preferred.
  • Must be detailed oriented and have the ability to prioritize with a sense of urgency.
  • Must be flexible and willing to assist other departments.
