This role is crucial to the success of our retail operations. As a Customer Service Representative, you will engage with wholesale and retail customers to identify their needs, address inquiries about Sherwin-Williams products, and recommend tailored solutions. You will be responsible for quickly resolving customer concerns to ensure maximum satisfaction, all while staying current with product features and maintaining high-quality visual standards in the store.

Your duties will involve engaging with customers, which may include minors, as well as handling cash and payment methods. Supervision may vary. To safeguard the company's reputation and the safety of customers and employees, a review of criminal history is required for this position.

Selected candidates will be expected to work at locations within 30 miles of Store , situated at: 133 North Main Street, St. Albans, VT 05478.

  • Provide exceptional sales service to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Assist customers in-store and over the phone by identifying their needs and presenting suitable products and services.
  • Build and maintain productive trust relationships with customers.
  • Process sales transactions accurately while adhering to company policies.
  • Meet monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales goals.
  • Maintain orderly work order files and formulas.
  • Retrieve products from sales floor or warehouse as needed.
  • Tint and mix products according to customer specifications.
  • Restock shelves and create engaging displays.
  • Clean and maintain store equipment.
  • Assist with loading and unloading delivery trucks.
  • Help with deliveries as required.
  • Keep assigned areas in-stock and visually appealing.
  • Stay informed about product offerings and available options.
  • Follow inventory control procedures diligently.
  • Propose ideas to boost sales performance.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country without requiring employment visa sponsorship.
  • Must possess a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. occasionally, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Must be willing to work scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • At least one (1) year of experience in delivery, retail, or customer service.
  • Experience in selling paint and related products.
  • Experience operating tinting and mixing equipment.
  • Ability to communicate in multiple languages, especially Spanish.
