This role is vital to the success of our retail operations. Customer Service Representatives engage with both wholesale and retail customers to understand their needs, address their inquiries about Sherwin-Williams products, and provide the best solutions. You will also be responsible for resolving any customer concerns swiftly, ensuring maximum satisfaction, and keeping up-to-date with product features while maintaining high quality and visual standards in the store. Your goal will be to deliver outstanding customer service while consistently achieving store sales targets.
This position may involve interactions with customers, including minors, and access to financial transactions, electronic equipment, personal information, and store merchandise. Therefore, a review of criminal history is essential to protect the business, its operations, and the safety of our customers and staff.
As a selected candidate, you may be required to work at stores within a 30-mile radius of our location at 400 Putnam Pike, Smithfield, RI 02917.

- Help with deliveries as needed.
- Keep assigned areas in-stock and visually appealing.
- Stay knowledgeable about product offerings and discuss available options with customers.
- Follow inventory control procedures.
- Suggest strategies to enhance sales further.
Minimum Requirements: - Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the country without requiring sponsorship for work visa status.
- Must possess a valid, unrestricted driver's license.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Must be willing to work scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Preferred Qualifications: - High school diploma or GED preferred.
- At least one year of experience in delivery, retail, or customer service.
- Previous experience selling paint and related products is a plus.
- Experience operating tinting and mixing equipment preferred.
- Ability to communicate in more than one language is a plus.
- Spanish language proficiency is a plus.
