Exempt Job Summary Doggett Warehouse Solutions, based out of San Antonio, is a key division of Doggett Toyota Lift, specializing in Racking Systems, Industrial Batteries & Chargers, Dock & Door Equipment, and PowerBoss Sweepers & Scrubbers. We are looking for a driven Sales Representative to lead warehouse solutions sales efforts while partnering closely with our Material Handling sales team.
This is a consultative sales role focused on providing tailored solutions that improve operational efficiency, productivity, and safety for our customers. The role also requires project management skills, an understanding of warehouse layout and design, and the ability to work with our AutoCAD design team to develop detailed plans for customer approval.
Essential Functions - Develop and execute a sales strategy for Doggett Warehouse Solutions products and services within the assigned territory.
- Collaborate with Material Handling Sales Representatives to identify and pursue complementary solution opportunities.
- Conduct site assessments to collect field measurements, evaluate workflow, and identify areas for improvement.
- Work closely with the internal AutoCAD team to translate customer needs into functional layout designs.
- Present detailed proposals that include product recommendations, estimated ROI, and design illustrations.
- Oversee projects from concept to installation, ensuring timelines, budget, and customer expectations are met.
- Coordinate with internal teams (service, install, purchasing) to manage project execution smoothly and professionally.
- Monitor activity, pipeline, and follow-up through CRM and reporting tools.
- Represent Doggett at customer meetings, trade shows, and product training.
Qualifications - 3+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in warehouse equipment, material handling, or industrial solutions.
- Strong project management skills - ability to manage multiple timelines, vendors, and deliverables.
- Experience in measuring, scoping, and coordinating layout designs with technical staff or design software teams.
- Working knowledge of racking, dock equipment, floor scrubbers, and industrial batteries a plus.
- Comfortable collaborating with AutoCAD specialists to communicate design needs based on customer site visits.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
- Organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently in the field.
- Valid driver's license: Regional travel required.
