This role is responsible for managing customer inquiries, processing orders, maintaining accurate records, and supporting the sales team. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a customer-first mindset, and the ability to handle multiple priorities with accuracy and efficiency.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee order entry from start to finish, ensuring accuracy and timely processing
  • Communicate professionally with customers and internal teams regarding order status, inquiries, and resolutions
  • Investigate and document returns, process customer concerns, and collaborate with internal teams as needed
  • Maintain and update customer data within the CRM system, ensuring accuracy and integrity
  • Monitor pricing, generate reports, and document any standard price adjustments
  • Support sales and marketing initiatives, including lead generation, bid preparation, and execution of sales strategies
  • Stay informed on product specifications to provide guidance and optimize customer solutions

Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of experience in customer support or order management; inside sales experience is a plus
  • Previous experience in industrial, manufacturing, or a related industry is preferred
  • High school diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred but not mandatory
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; CRM experience is a plus (NetSuite preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Customer-first mindset with strong communication and problem-solving abilities
