This role is responsible for managing customer inquiries, processing orders, maintaining accurate records, and supporting the sales team. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a customer-first mindset, and the ability to handle multiple priorities with accuracy and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee order entry from start to finish, ensuring accuracy and timely processing
- Communicate professionally with customers and internal teams regarding order status, inquiries, and resolutions
- Investigate and document returns, process customer concerns, and collaborate with internal teams as needed
- Maintain and update customer data within the CRM system, ensuring accuracy and integrity
- Monitor pricing, generate reports, and document any standard price adjustments
- Support sales and marketing initiatives, including lead generation, bid preparation, and execution of sales strategies
- Stay informed on product specifications to provide guidance and optimize customer solutions
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of experience in customer support or order management; inside sales experience is a plus
- Previous experience in industrial, manufacturing, or a related industry is preferred
- High school diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred but not mandatory
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; CRM experience is a plus (NetSuite preferred)
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities
