Job Summary: We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our team. The CSR will be the first point of contact for customers, assisting them with inquiries, scheduling appointments, coordinating with various employees throughout the dealership and acting as a liaison to ensure a smooth repair process. The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a passion for providing outstanding customer service.
Supervisory Responsibilities: Duties/Responsibilities:
- Warmly greet and assist all incoming customers via telephone or in person to provide support and information on products or services.
- Schedule appointments and coordinate with customers, insurance companies, rental agencies and the estimator.
- Provide weekly updates to customers on the status of their vehicle repairs.
- Create and organize files, documents and any paperwork that relates to the customer and their vehicle/repairs.
- Address minor customer concerns and complaints to ensure satisfaction.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new software.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in customer service is a plus.
- Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in the automotive or auto body repair industry.
- Basic knowledge of automotive repair processes and insurance claims is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and customer management software.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds at times.
