Customer Service Representative - Manufacturing
Location: Pompano Beach, FL (On-Site)
Pay: Up to $21 per hour
Schedule: Full-time
Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative with a proven background in manufacturing customer service. This is a fully on-site role in Pompano Beach, FL. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, experience processing customer orders, and the ability to manage customer relationships in a fast-paced industrial or manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist customers with all telephone inquiries and product information
- Provide price quotes and confirm lead times for products and orders
- Accurately process customer orders through order entry systems
- Update and confirm current pricing and availability
- Expedite urgent orders as needed
- Follow up on open quotes and customer inquiries
- Collaborate with Outside Sales Managers to support and maintain customer relationships
- Coordinate and send product samples
- Gather necessary information for customer complaints and return processing
- Coordinate product testing as needed
- Maintain accurate customer records, including contact and shipping information
- Manage and confirm order changes, cancellations, and updates
- Send introductory letters to new and prospective customers
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of customer service experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment (required)
- Comfortable working in a structured, on-site setting in Pompano Beach, FL
