Job Description
Avery Dennison is seeking a Service Consultant to join the Performance Tapes - North America Customer Support organization and will provide exceptional Customer Service to our customers. The successful candidate will manage accounts in terms of order processing, order follow up, pricing integrity, on-time deliveries, and complete order fulfillment. This individual will be expected to work 8a - 5p EST Monday through Friday. This is a hybrid role, with Tuesday and Wednesdays being on-site at our Building 5 location in Painesville, OH (other days are remote optional).
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Management of customer accounts in terms of order processing, order follow-up, pricing integrity, on-time delivery, expediting, and complete order fulfillment.
Implement account service strategies.
Principal liaison with marketing and sales for assigned customers.
Implementation of Marketing programs for assigned accounts.
Initiate and implement initiatives which improve responsiveness enriching the customer experience.
Champion customer needs, proactively follow-up on customer inquiries, and be the customer's advocate by driving the voice of the customer (VOC) into the organization.
Coordinate with Logistics, Operations, and Transportation to ensure on-delivery
Back-up team members when workload makes this necessary.
Partner with Sales to assist in achieving sales goals
Proactively communicate supply chain issues and provide alternatives.
Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree a plus.
Minimum of five (5) years customer service or related experience a plus, preferably in manufacturing or industrial organizations.
Ability to lead customer-facing meetings independently, with little support or supervision required.
Strong written, verbal and phone skills required.
Detail oriented with excellent prioritization skills with the ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
Strong data entry and organizational skills required.
The hourly rate for this position is $22.32 - $31.25 / hour.
