The individual selected for this part-time role will be expected to work at Store 721072, located at: Ventura Blvd, Oxnard, CA 93036.

This essential position plays a key role in the success of our retail stores. As a Customer Service Representative, you will engage closely with both wholesale and retail customers to understand their needs, respond to their inquiries about Sherwin-Williams products, and recommend the best solutions. You will also be tasked with addressing customer concerns promptly, ensuring maximum satisfaction and remaining current on product features while upholding high quality and visual standards in the store.

Our Customer Service Representatives strive to deliver exceptional service while consistently meeting the store's sales targets. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Providing high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
  • Assisting customers in person and over the phone by determining their needs and presenting appropriate products and services.
  • Building productive trust relationships with wholesale and retail customers.
  • Accurately processing sales transactions in compliance with company policies.
  • Meeting and exceeding monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales goals.
  • Maintaining organized work order files and product formulas.
  • Retrieving products from the sales floor or warehouse, and mixing products as needed to meet customer specifications.
  • Stocking shelves and setting up appealing displays.
  • Cleaning store equipment and assisting with loading/unloading delivery trucks.
  • Maintaining assigned areas in an in-stock and visually presentable condition.
  • Remaining knowledgeable about available products and discussing options with customers.
  • Complying with inventory control procedures and suggesting sales improvement strategies.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country without the need for sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future.
  • Must possess a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
  • Must be able to retrieve materials from shelves and lift and carry up to 50 lbs frequently, and up to 70 lbs on occasion, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Must be willing to work scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or GED preferred.
  • At least one (1) year of experience in delivery, retail, or customer service roles.
  • Previous experience selling paint and related products is a plus.
  • Familiarity with tinting and mixing equipment is advantageous.
  • Ability to communicate in more than one language is preferred.
  • Ability to communicate in Spanish is a plus.
