DescriptionAs a Barrett Customer Service Representative, you are the engine behind exceptional commercial sales support, proactively managing every touchpoint in the customer journey. From handling high-volume email inquiries from commercial consumers and channel partners to processing orders with precision, your role ensures efficiency and satisfaction at every level. You expertly manage paperwork for repairs, returns, and exchanges, while serving as a vital resource to the external sales team. Your adaptability and commitment to excellence ensure that no detail is overlooked and every challenge is met with a solution.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
- Handle all company emails and phone inquiries relative to commercial sales, by responding directly to the inquiry or forwarding to the appropriate department.
- Communicate new product or specials to current and potential customers. Finalize sales and shipping documents and calculatate and communicate delivery times.
- Provide internal support to the external sales team. Process orders from distributors, dealers, warranty repairs, and coordinate estimates in a timely manner with the customer.
- Enter quotes, orders, and post invoices to send to customers. Monitor customer payments, and contact customers for payment and deposits.
- Maintain FFL Database and process ATF Forms and NFA travel letters.
- Support marketing efforts by coordinating shipping and receiving of demonstration rifles and accessories.
- Enters quotes, orders, invoices, and post invoices. Email invoices to customers. Monitor customer payments. Contact customers for payments and apply deposits to orders.
- Review distributor Purchase Orders for correctness.
- Maintain the return authorization database.
- Monitor orders daily to determine availability to ship.
- Perform other duties as directed by supervisor or management.
Education and/or Experience: - High school diploma or GED required.
- Additional relevant education is a plus.
- Experience in Order Entry/Customer Service is a plus.
- Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Proficient in Great Plains desired.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations - Maintain valid driver's license.
- Maintain eligibility to work with firearms under state and federal guidelines.
