A DAY IN THE LIFE OF CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE (CSR)

As a Customer Service Representative (CSR), you play a vital role in ensuring customer satisfaction and keeping daily operations running smoothly. Each day brings a variety of responsibilities, from handling administrative tasks to providing exceptional customer support. Whether responding to emails and phone calls or assisting customers in person, you maintain a professional and friendly demeanor, addressing inquiries and promoting our HVAC products as the best solutions for their needs. In addition to customer interactions, you assist with order fulfillment by staging and processing orders, monitoring inventory levels, and stocking shelves to ensure accurate material counts. When supplies run low, you promptly fulfill parts requests to keep operations efficient.

Additionally, you may be asked to assist the warehouse by safely loading and unloading trucks, staging and shipping orders, or making local deliveries in our company-owned box truck. Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures, you ensure that materials are handled properly and deliveries are made with care. Your attention to detail, commitment to service, and focus on workplace safety help create a seamless experience for our customers while contributing to the overall success of our company.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE (CSR)
  • Previous customer service experience
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with computers and office software
  • HVAC industry knowledge (preferred but not required)
  • Forklift experience (preferred but not required)
  • Physically able to perform the necessary functions of the job, including lifting up to 50 lbs
  • Must be 21 years of age (required for back-up driver duties)
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record (required for back-up driver duties)
  • Has or willing to obtain a Medical DOT card (required for back-up driver duties)
  • High school diploma or equivalent
Are you an experienced customer service professional with strong communication and problem-solving skills? Do you take pride in your attention to detail, sense of urgency, and commitment to safety and integrity in the workplace? Are you proficient with computers and office software and eager to learn and grow in a dynamic environment? Do you have HVAC industry knowledge or forklift experience (preferred but not required)?

Are you physically capable of performing job functions, including lifting up to 50 lbs? Are you at least 21 years old with a valid driver's license and a good driving record to serve as a backup driver when needed? Are you willing to obtain a Medical DOT card if you don't already have one? Do you have a high school diploma or equivalent?

WORK SCHEDULE FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE (CSR)

This customer service position is a full-time, salary position with the majority of your hours scheduled between the store hours of 7:00am - 4:30pm, Monday - Friday. Some additional hours may be required at times based on the seasonality of our business and/or special projects.
