A Day in the Life of an CSR

Working as an My Office Pro CSR will give you the opportunity to work with a wide variety of businesses. You'll spend your days communicating with clients via email and telephone, assisting with their payroll, reporting, and HR needs. You will also work closely with our payroll processing team to ensure they have everything needed from clients to complete payrolls on time. During the training period, you'll initially learn how to process payroll, so that you clearly understand the foundation of what we do. Following your payroll training, you will begin shadowing with other CSRs and assisting some clients with help from your peers and management. Eventually, you will be responsible for several accounts and have the opportunity to build rapport with your clients. Rest assured our CSR Manager and Supervisor will support you every step of the way during training and beyond.

What is Required to be a CSR?

While we will teach you all the details for how to do the job, there are some skills and attributes that a CSR will need to succeed in the role. We are looking for someone who truly enjoys working with and helping others. This individual must be dependable, detail-oriented, and tech-savvy. Every client is a little different, so this position also requires multi-tasking and flexibility. The ideal candidate will be willing to use the resources available to them to troubleshoot issues independently - while also recognizing when they need to ask for additional help. Don't worry though. Our entire management team has an open-door policy for questions and suggestions and will be there to provide support whenever it is needed.

Hours, Pay, and Benefits

This position is in office, Monday through Friday from 8 am until 5 pm, with the opportunity to work a hybrid schedule in the future. If the work is completed on Friday, we do often get to leave a little early and get a head start on the weekend. The initial hourly pay starts at $15 an hour, with a rate increase available after training is completed. We believe our success should be shared with those that make it happen day-to-day, so we also pay quarterly bonuses based on company profits. Benefits include fully paid health, life, and long-term disability insurance for employees, contributions to a Health Savings Account on your behalf, 401k with match, dental and vision insurance, and three weeks of PTO per year.
