Adecco is seeking a
Customer Service Representative for a client in
Liverpool, NY. This is a temp-to-hire position paying
$18-21/hour depending on experience.
We're seeking a proactive, customer-focused individual to join our Inside Sales team as a
Customer Service Representative (CSR). If you're passionate about problem-solving, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and enjoy working with both internal teams and customers, this role is for you.
What You'll Do: - Serve as the key contact for customer communication-via phone, email, and occasionally in person.
- Support sales, purchasing, and production teams to ensure orders are accurate and on-time.
- Monitor and communicate the status of orders throughout the manufacturing process.
- Provide quotes, process orders, and arrange shipping in a cost-effective and timely manner.
- Resolve customer inquiries and issues promptly, partnering with internal specialists when needed.
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and account activity.
- Stay informed on product specs and become a knowledgeable resource on gasket, insulation, and adhesive solutions.
What You Bring: - 5+ years of customer service and/or inside sales experience (manufacturing experience strongly preferred).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and database systems.
- Proven ability to multitask, prioritize, and remain organized under pressure.
- Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- A positive attitude with a customer-first mindset.
- Valid NY driver's license (required for occasional travel).
Bonus Points If You Have: - Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business or related field.
- Experience working in a production environment and familiarity with manufacturing workflows.
Pay Details: $18.00 to $21.00 per hour
