We are seeking a personable, detail-oriented, and highly organized Customer Service Representative to support our contract manufacturing operations within the health and wellness industry. This role plays a critical part in ensuring exceptional service to both internal teams and external customers. The ideal candidate will support our clients-brands in the dietary supplement and nutritional product space-by managing order processes, communicating timelines, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and maintaining a high standard of professionalism and accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customers, ensuring a positive, professional experience throughout the production lifecycle.
- Process purchase orders and provide order acknowledgments, shipping schedules, and updates to customers in a timely and accurate manner.
- Work closely with internal departments (sales, supply chain, production, quality, and R&D) to coordinate customer requirements, resolve issues, and track progress on open orders.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records and order documentation within ERP and CRM systems.
- Support customer onboarding processes and help educate clients on order procedures, timelines, and product readiness expectations.
- Communicate any delays, product changes, or potential challenges with transparency and care, providing proactive solutions when necessary.
- Monitor and respond to customer inquiries, complaints, and requests via phone and email with professionalism and urgency.
- Collaborate with planning and inventory teams to help ensure on-time delivery and proper customer-supplied material receipt and usage.
- Participate in customer meetings, internal planning sessions, and product launch reviews to ensure alignment and service excellence.
- Uphold confidentiality, product knowledge, and regulatory awareness relevant to dietary supplements and wellness products.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of customer service or account support experience, ideally in contract manufacturing, health & wellness, or CPG industries.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Highly detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple customer accounts and orders simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word); experience with ERP systems preferred.
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Knowledge of dietary supplements, FDA cGMPs, or the wellness industry is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
