ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Respond to calls and e-mails from advisors and clients regarding life insurance, annuities, LTC, and disability insurance.
- Assist, review, submit and follow up on:
- Title Changes: Ownership, POA, Beneficiary changes & Third party authorization
- Agent of record changes, licensing, product, carrier requirements
- Claims on life, annuity, LTC & LTC
- Perform policy reviews
- Assist with ACATs, withdrawals & surrenders
- Run and request in force illustrations
- EFT/modal changes
- Reinstatements
- Conversions
- Assist in completing forms
- Respond to customer requests in timely manner, provide information and resolve problems
- Perform other tasks as assigned by management
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE - College degree or equivalent workforce experience
- Previous one year life and/or annuity insurance experience is preferred
- Knowledge of life and annuity insurance products and industry is preferred
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES - Excellent verbal, written and organizational skills
- Attention to detail with emphasis on accuracy and quality
- Self-starter with the ability to manage time effectively, prioritize work to balance multiple projects, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
- Analytical, critical thinking and problem solving skills with the ability to determine the appropriate action
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships at all levels of the organization
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Demonstrated reliability in attendance and work performance
QUALIFICATIONS- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability and Willingness to learn systems and industry
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS - Existing insurance license or willingness to obtain insurance license within 6 months of employment
