Position Summary:

The Customer Service Representative plays a vital role in supporting the store management team by delivering outstanding customer service, handling food and beverage preparation, operating the cash register, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. You'll ensure that every customer leaves with a smile, aligning with Wawa's mission to fulfill lives every day.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Welcome and engage customers while creating a positive shopping experience. Address customer inquiries and feedback in a friendly and prompt manner by utilizing our customer service model.
  • Collaborate with management on customer requests and feedback.
  • Handle cashier duties, including operating the register, processing payments, and maintaining accurate cash levels.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations by verifying age for restricted product purchases.
  • Restock products and supplies in various areas of the store to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Assist with fuel transactions and monitor activities at the fuel court.
  • Prepare food and beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in all service areas, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Check expiration dates, ensure product freshness, remove expired items, and maintain a tidy inventory.
  • Perform routine housekeeping tasks to keep the store environment clean and welcoming.
  • Follow all safety, quality, and operational procedures as outlined in Wawa's training materials.
  • Complete additional duties as assigned by management.
Essential Requirements:
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional customer service aptitude.
  • Adaptability to learn and apply safety and quality procedures.
  • Availability for overtime and flexible shifts as needed.
  • Skill in managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting up to 35 lbs and standing for extended periods.
  • Must be at least 16 years of age.
  • Reliable transportation is essential.
  • Mandatory use of slip-resistant footwear.
  • Willingness to handle cleaning supplies safely.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience in food service or customer service is advantageous.
    Seasonal Associates receive an additional $3.00/hour from May 26, 2025, to September 1, 2025, and a $1.50/hour increase for hours worked between 12 am-6 am.
