Customer Service Representative Area: DOGA USA - Huntley, IL
Department: Distribution
In charge of: Reports to Distribution Supply Chain Manager
Mission: Provide customer service support in the Distribution department.
Basic responsibilities:Customer Service/Expediting - 80% - First and foremost - act as liaison between the customer and the company to ensure that customers' needs are met.
- Research, take corrective actions and respond to customer order inquiries and delivery performance.
- Quote Verifications - locate purchase facility, price and MOQ. Compare against existing customers.
- Create customer "ship-to" addresses in SAP - customer p/n cross-reference verification.
- Order entry and schedule verification.
- Ability to use external customer websites for uploading customer material schedules.
- Review customer forecasts for changes and input new/changed data into database
- Utilize SAP pro-actively and communicate/coordinate problems with DOGA I.T. Dept.
Other - 20% - Professionally perform any other tasks required by the Managing Director or Supply Chain Manager.
- Participate as a team member to ensure the growth and profitability of the company.
- Be polite and courteous to clients and co-workers at all times.
Essential Job Functions: - Accurate and efficient keyboarding skills.
- Inputting, accessing and retrieving data from computer.
- Ability to sit for long periods of time. May also require standing, walking, bending and stretching for files or supplies.
- May need to carry files or other materials up to 15 lbs.
- Ability to read, interpret and follow oral and written instructions.
- Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers.
- Capable of self-direction.
- Regular attendance and timeliness.
Qualifications: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams), 2-3 years of customer service experience, effective communication skills, understanding of basic accounting principles and order entry, accurate and efficient keyboarding skills. SAP experience is preferred.
Education Requirements: Minimum associate's degree required.
