Customer Service Representative
Harrisburg, PA (Onsite)
4+Month Contract Overview: Support the Medicare Appeal process by answering calls, resolving customer inquiries, and following internal procedures to meet productivity and quality standards.
Responsibilities: - Answer incoming calls and respond to inquiries via telephone, email, fax, or mail.
- Resolve customer questions, complaints, and requests accurately and promptly.
- Log and retrieve information using automated systems, ensuring timely data entry.
- Investigate customer issues and escalate difficult situations to the appropriate party.
- Serve as a liaison between Review Supervisors and external providers.
- Collect and input demographic, provider, and procedure information into the system.
- Maintain logs and document call dispositions.
- Meet or exceed call volume and service level standards.
Requirements: - High School diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years of customer service or call center experience.
- Ability to effectively communicate with team members and external customers.
- Research and problem-solving skills related to Medicaid program and service eligibility.
- Experience in a medical office or healthcare setting (preferred).
- Knowledge of Medicaid eligibility, CPT, and HCPCS codes (preferred).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
