The Collections Representative plays a key role in maintaining the financial health of our organization. You will be responsible for contacting customers regarding past-due accounts, resolving payment issues, and creating win-win solutions - all while delivering empathetic and professional service. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment and has a knack for balancing firmness with compassion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Handle inbound and outbound calls to resolve delinquent accounts in a professional and respectful manner
  • Use a consultative and empathetic approach to guide clients toward account resolution
  • Work with internal departments to research and reconcile account discrepancies
  • Monitor and maintain assigned accounts; follow up regularly to ensure timely payments
  • Accurately document interactions and account updates in our system
  • Assist in achieving department goals for DSO (days sales outstanding) and delinquency rates
  • Stay informed on compliance regulations and company policies related to collections
Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience in collections or accounts receivable, preferably in a financial institution
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills with a customer-first mindset
  • Experience working with systems like NetSuite or Great Plains is preferred
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage high-volume workloads
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in finance, business, or related field is a plus

Pay Details: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour
