Customer Service Representative - Property & Casualty Insurance
Location: On-Site - Local Insurance Office
Our client is a locally rooted insurance agency seeking a licensed and experienced Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join their growing team. This role is ideal for a dependable professional with a background in Property & Casualty Insurance, who is ready to contribute immediately and help manage and service our book of business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent service to current policyholders via phone and in person.
- Manage and maintain small business commercial accounts (typically $8K-$15K in premium).
- Process policy changes, endorsements, certificates, and renewals.
- Support producers with quoting and servicing both commercial and personal lines policies.
- Ensure compliance with underwriting guidelines and company procedures.
- Build strong client relationships and ensure timely follow-up on client needs.
Requirements:
- Active 2-20 or 4-40 insurance license in the state of Florida (or ability to obtain immediately).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of insurance agency experience - personal or commercial lines.
- Solid understanding of Property & Casualty Insurance with the ability to handle service needs independently.
- Strong communication and phone skills are essential.
- Must be comfortable working on-site and engaging directly with clients.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in commercial insurance, especially small business accounts.
- Familiarity with property/office policies.
