Superior is currently seeking a high-energy individual to work as a Customer Service Representative at our Cincinnati, OH location. The starting hourly rate for this position is $21.00.

POSITION SUMMARY: Serves customers by providing product and service information; acts as a liaison between customers and Superior, assists with orders, account questions, billing, cancelations and other queries; and resolves product and service problems.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Serves both internal and external customers.
  • First point of contact for visitors.
  • Identify and assess customer's needs to achieve satisfaction.
  • Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication.
  • Open and maintain customer accounts by entering information within the operating system.
  • Manage incoming phone calls and orders received via email.
  • Process orders within the operating system.
  • Verify inventory availability
  • Communicates and coordinates with internal departments (quality, operations, and sales) to develop a service plan and resolve any service failures.
  • Assists sales professionals with various administrative functions.
  • ISO Management System Process Responsibilities include:
    1. Taking an Order
      • Certification Requirements
      • Credit Verification
    2. Non-Conforming Product
    3. Shipping
    4. New Customer Set-Up
    5. Corrective Actions
  • Other duties as assigned.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1 Year of previous Customer Service experience preferred
  • High degree of professionalism
  • Strong customer service focus
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrated experience in the above areas
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple work assignments
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
  • Occasionally moves about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
  • Operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer. It is important that this position see details of objects that are less than a few feet away.
  • This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds.
  • Regularly repeats the same movements when entering data.
  • This position frequently sits for longer periods of time.

To be considered proficient as a Customer Service Representative, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed must be representative of the knowledge, skills, minimum education, training, licensure, experience and/or ability required.
