We are seeking a Customer Service Representative with manufacturing and international shipping experience. Responsibilities: - Input customer orders into SAP and confirm with order acknowledgment.
- Prepare and verify bills of lading (BOL) to ensure accuracy.
- Review shipping documents before releasing them to the warehouse.
- Coordinate with logistics providers, van lines, and freight forwarders for shipment confirmations.
- Arrange expedited same-day deliveries with management approval.
- Verify shipped documents for correct signatures and dates.
- Email BOL and Certificate of Analysis (COA) to customers post-shipment.
- Post (GR) sale orders in SAP to update inventory records.
- Prepare shipment paperwork for the following day.
- Maintain monthly filing of completed sales orders.
- Perform administrative tasks such as answering phones, greeting visitors, and distributing mail.
- Manage ExWorks customer shipments and update portals with routing and scheduling information.
- Schedule LTL, bulk, and truckload carriers to optimize dock efficiency.
- Arrange bookings and update SAP with relevant shipment information.
- Send shipping documents to forwarders and customers as needed.
Requirements: - High school diploma or GED.
- 2-3 years of customer service experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Basic SAP knowledge required.
- Experience with ISO standards, international exports, and hazardous material shipping is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Must pass a Department of Homeland Security background check, physical exam, and drug screening.
- Combination of office and manufacturing environments with occasional exposure to noise and fumes.
- Regular use of office equipment (computers, phones, copiers, etc.).
