Customer Service Representative
Location: Reading, OH (On-Site)
Job Type: Full-Time
Salary: $50,000 - $55,000 per year

We're a family-oriented, customer-driven manufacturing company seeking a Customer Service Representative who thrives on accuracy, organization, and strong communication. This is a detail-heavy role that requires advanced Excel skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and the professionalism to support both our customers and internal teams.
Responsibilities:Customer Communication & Order Management
- Receive, enter, and monitor customer orders via phone, email, and fax
- Verify and confirm accuracy of purchase orders (pricing, product, quantity, shipping terms)
- Communicate shipping updates, backorders, or changes to customers clearly and professionally
- Proactively address and resolve service issues, including replacements, delays, or complaints
- Maintain strong working relationships with customers and act as their point of contact
Internal Collaboration & Support
- Act as a liaison between Sales, Production, Shipping, and Management teams
- Provide timely updates on order status, material availability, and inventory to internal departments
- Coordinate transportation and logistics for outgoing and incoming materials when needed
- Support the maintenance of customer databases and ERP/order entry systems
Documentation & Detail Work
- Review and input data with a high degree of accuracy
- Generate and manage reports using Microsoft Excel (filters, formulas, and sorting a must; pivot tables a plus)
- Maintain organized records of customer interactions, order changes, and shipment details
Qualifications:- 2+ years of customer service experience, ideally in manufacturing, logistics, or supply chain
- High attention to detail and follow-through in a fast-paced environment
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and stay organized under pressure
- High school diploma or GED required; additional training or certifications a plus
