Customer Service Representative

Job Overview:
Search Solution Group is seeking a Customer Service Representative on behalf of our client located in Charlotte, NC. This role is vital to maintaining strong customer relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction within a company that specializes in compressed air and gas treatment products and systems. The ideal candidate will demonstrate professionalism, patience, and the ability to de-escalate challenging situations effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond promptly and professionally to incoming customer inquiries via phone and email
• Resolve product or service issues by clarifying the customer's concern, determining the cause, and offering a solution
• Maintain customer records by updating account information in internal systems
• Communicate with internal departments to address customer needs and follow up on service issues
• Provide product information, service details, and order support
• Demonstrate empathy and professionalism when dealing with irate or frustrated customers

Requirements Include:
Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred

Experience:

• 1-3 years of experience in a customer service or call center role
• Experience in an industrial or technical product environment is a plus

Skills:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving abilities
• SAP experience helpful, but not required

Certifications:

• None required

Knowledge:

• Familiarity with customer service best practices
• Understanding of industrial product support is a plus
