Hillandale Farms is in search of a Customer Service Representative to join our team in the Bozrah, CT Location

Customer Service Representative

This position will be responsible for, but not limited to, daily customer order calls, document proofing, call ahead orders, proofing order sheets for sales orders; as well as other job related duties.

Essential Job Functions

• Call customer for regular and call ahead orders: arrange shipping documents in numerical order and put billing documents together, email orders as needed, proof documents for appropriate signatures and pricing, fax indicated invoices to Accounting Coordinator, check emails for orders received and process.
• Answer incoming calls and emails from customers, providing accurate information about our products, services, and company policies.
• Place call sheets in numerical order by customer number and compare Proofing Report to Order Sheets for accuracy.
• Assist Manager with special projects.
• Other job related duties including but not limited to all other clerical related duties.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3-5 years customer service experience preferred, along with some management experience.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-focused mindset.
• Proficiency in using customer service software, databases, and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word).
