Volt is immediately hiring for Customer Service Representative (CSR) in Austin, Texas.

As a Customer Service Representative, you will:

  • Receive, input, and review all orders.
  • Communicate in a timely manner with customers, field sales, and internal personnel regarding customer needs via fax, phone, or electronic means.
  • Coordinate with various functions within the company to ensure customer requests are handled appropriately and in a timely manner.
  • Establish and maintain liaison relationships with all customers for all products.
  • Develop and maintain positive and strong relationships with customers.
  • Review backorders and find the required customer demands when necessary.
  • Respond to customer inquiries to determine appropriate product literature and pricing schedules; quoting & order entry; ensure on-time deliveries and track delinquencies.
  • Administer specified divisional sales policy for order entry, pricing, quoting, and shipping.
  • Actively participate in facility WIN Goals and Cost Reduction programs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
This is a full-time opportunity.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Customer Service experience, Product Knowledge, Quality Focus, Problem Solving, Documentation Skills, Listening, Phone Skills, Resolving Conflict, Analyzing Information, Multi-tasking.
  • Ability to learn parts numbers, and technical and product applications.
  • 2-4 year degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years customer service experience required.
  • Mainframe and PC competency required.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Must be a self-starter and motivated.
Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour

Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
