Shifts available are Split Shift 12pm to 8:30pm
Wage range starts at $17.00 per hour, shift differential pay also available. Wage range is based on Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Customer Service Representative Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform as an assistant to both the Warehouse Supervisors and the Warehouse clerical staff. Writing Orders, Making Bills of Lading, Checking in Trucks, Answering Phones, Communicating with Customers and Drivers, Data Entry, and Record-keeping. This individual must be able to lead, coordinate, and prioritize Warehouse operation tasks as directed by their Supervisor. These tasks include:
  • Under the direct supervision of the warehouse manager this position provides administrative and clerical support for Arlington location.
  • Responding to customer phone calls, emails and in-person visits
  • Scheduling inbound and outbound trucks
  • Maintaining bill of lading and other shipping and receiving records
  • Coordinate and communicate with Production employees regarding product
  • Accurately track product inventory
  • Assist with record maintenance and filing
  • Verify inventory is scanned in accurately, inbounds and outbounds
  • Follow health, safety, and cleanliness standards
  • Excellent attendance and punctuality for an hourly role
  • Handle any minor tasks related to the duties of the position
  • Good computer skills, including Word and Excel. Experience with Access preferred
  • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems preferred
  • Must be able to prioritize and perform position responsibilities accurately and to deadline.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED required

• 2 - 3 years of experience in customer service or phone order entry role preferred

Working Conditions

This is largely a static role in an office setting. The ability to perform repetitive bending and walking is also required. This would require the ability to lift 10-35 lbs. occasionally.

This role is office-based and occasionally operates in a wet and cold/refrigerated environment (usually 38) located within a manufacturing, warehousing, and production-type facility. Must be able to withstand cold temperatures for duration of shift when necessary.

Hourly Employees: Universal Pure facilities may process, pack, and store products containing allergenic food ingredients as referenced by FDA, team members who may come in direct contact, must be able to work with these ingredients.
