Do you love animals and have some knowledge of dog breeds? Are you a bubbly, outgoing person that loves to get to know people over the phone? Do you love solving problems for people? This may be the perfect position for you.
This is a fast paced office that will keep you busy with multiple tasks.
- Your number one priority is to talk and text with clients to set up an appointment to groom their pets. You will also talk and text with potential clients to teach them about our services and find out the details of their pets to see if we are the right groomer for them. Calls are sparatic through the afternoon.
- When the phone is quiet you have a chance to move around within the office to wash and dry towels and fold them into baskets.
- Print out the following day's schedules for each of the groomers, providing drive times and reminder cards for the next visit for each client. This requires attention to detail and good handwriting or printing.
- At the end of the day you will interact with our groomers to reconcile their appointments for the day to accurately reflect the services rendered, payments received and tips collected. You then pay out the tips to the groomers from a cash bag. Once all groomers have been paid, then you reconcile your cash bag, be sure everyone is set up for the next day and head home after a fun day's work.
- If you are a social media person, there are always pictures of cute dogs after grooming to be posted, stories to share and great reviews to post on social media.
Compensation: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
