Our client is looking for a Customer Service Representative to join their team. Our client has been in business for over 100 years and is a leading manufacturer of metal burial vaults.

Job Requirements

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.
Provide timely and accurate information to incoming customer order status and product knowledge requests.
Process customer orders/changes according to established department policies and procedures.
Receive and enter phone and fax orders
Edit orders for accurate price and shipping costs
Prints shipment documents
Maintains customer name and address data base
Opens new client accounts
Responsible for sending accurate pricing information to clients and prospective clients
Process customer returns according to established department procedures.
Work closely with Sales Representatives, Drivers, Distribution and Service Managers to resolve problems and conflicts with orders
Work closely with Human Resources to provide information on drivers attendance
Provide timely feedback to the company regarding service failures or customer concerns.
Organize and match paperwork.
Communicate with customers when necessary to advise of shipments delay and/or information necessary to process order
Communicate with co-workers, management, clients, vendors, and others in a courteous and professional manner.
Solicit sale of additional products from clients to complete truck orders
Handle irate customers in a professional manner
Obtain customer feedback and report feedback to appropriate management personnel (Distribution Center Manager, Human Resources, Sales Representative, etc.)
Conform to all safety rules and use all appropriate safety equipment.
Qualification/requirement:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts
Excellent communication skills.
Good grammar, voice, and diction
Mid-level knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel)
Excellent customer service skills (friendly, courteous and helpful)
Able to work in team environment.
Education/Experience:
Minimum of a High school education, preferably with an Associates or Bachelors Degree and two to three or more years related experience and/or training.
