Job Description Overview Customer Service Quoting Specialists are responsibilities include effectively communicating with customers, completing quote requests, sending quote acknowledgements, explaining the quotes as well as the parts and what they do. This position reports to the Customer Service Supervisor.

Responsibilities The following activities are required in this position:
- Promoting excellence throughout the department
- Locate drawings and reference information using computer and paper files
- Use Visual Estimating window and accurately enter parts/service to be quoted
- Ability to qualify the customer's request and determine the proper part needed to fix issue and consulting with technical support and engineering when necessary
- Maintain a positive attitude when dealing with difficult customers
- Ability to place orders in Visual, following the Parts Order Entry SOP
- Manage/update Quoting SOP as changes happen and document accordingly
- Manage/update current Price List and documenting accordingly
- Add commonly sold parts to Price List and build parts/price list for Puck Master items
- Simple releasable part quotes need to be completed within 24 hours of receipt

- Proper disposal and handling of Proprietary documents
