These are limited duration appointments scheduled to last until June 30, 2025. We will also consider a job rotation for current, regular status employees of the State of Oregon in good standing in a permanent or limited duration position (not temporary or seasonal) that are expected to continue through at least June 30, 2025. The Child Care Payment Support Specialist will work in-office. The Phone Bank Support Specialist may work a hybrid schedule after training. We are responsible for administering state funded early learning programs, including home visiting and site-based infant, toddler, and preschool services and supports for families, licensing Oregon's child care providers and developing systems that coordinate regional cross sector partnerships through Early Learning Hubs. DELC partners with local Child Care Resource and Referral organizations to provide professional learning, coaching, consultation and other quality improvement opportunities for early learning and care providers. What you will do: Customer Service Phone Bank Support Specialist: This position acts as an information resource and liaison to a diverse group of people (i.e. child care providers, families, ODHS field staff, DELC staff and other community partners) presenting child care program procedures, child care payment procedures and answering questions regarding child care payments. This position is responsible for issuing accurate child care provider billing forms. To view a complete job description, click here Child Care Payment Support Specialist: This position works administrative duties within the Direct Payment Unit to prepare documents to be mailed to child care providers and families; prepare billing forms received by email from providers and transfer to the Department of Imaging & Records Management Services (IRMS) for payment, prepare re-evaluation forms and letters to mail to child care providers, and update provider master screens.
