Our team is a bunch of friendly, hardworking folks who don't mind getting their hands metaphorically dirty with a little (okay, a lot of) order entry. We support each other, double-check each other's work, and laugh through the busy days.
The Role: We're looking for a
Customer Service Order Entry Specialist - think of it as being the calm in the storm of calls, emails, and order changes. You'll be taking orders from chefs (yes, real-life chefs), sous chefs, and our amazing sales reps. If you love making sure every avocado, tomato, and lettuce leaf gets ordered correctly, you'll fit right in.
You'll be juggling
60 calls and 20 emails a day, processing
80-100 orders, and still having time to exchange a few friendly words (in both
English and Spanish - because our whole team is bilingual). If you're organized, detail-oriented, and enjoy controlled chaos, we want you.
A Day in the Life:- Taking orders from chefs & sales reps (they're usually nice, we promise).
- Entering orders into ProducePro like a data wizard.
- Double-checking orders with your teammates (because teamwork makes the dream work).
- Fixing those pesky EDI errors that try to sneak in.
- Answering product questions with confidence - or finding someone who knows the answer.
- Keeping tabs on web comments and flagging when a customer needs extra TLC.
- Supporting 32 Sales Reps without losing your cool (they'll love you for it).
- Managing your workload like a pro in a high-volume, fast-moving environment.
What You Bring to the Table:- 2+ years of customer service and order processing experience (produce experience = extra brownie points).
- You've got solid order entry skills and a love for getting things right.
- You're bilingual in English and Spanish - and comfortable using both daily.
- Familiar with ProducePro (or ready to learn it fast).
- Great listener, personable, and you can stay cool under pressure.
- A self-starter who doesn't need hand-holding - but isn't afraid to ask questions.
- You enjoy a fast-paced workday and a team that's more "family vibe" than corporate.
