Adecco is representing a well-established manufacturer seeking a Customer Service Manager to lead a high-performing team, improve internal processes, and ensure exceptional service to key accounts. In this role, you will:
- Oversee day-to-day customer service operations, stepping in to assist the team during high-volume periods or when staffing is limited
- Act as the point of contact for escalated inquiries and customer concerns
- Provide hands-on leadership to a small team, including performance reviews, training, and staff development
- Establish department KPIs and coach team members to hit service and efficiency goals
- Analyze service performance and implement process improvements where needed
- Lead and maintain internal compliance procedures related to customer and quality standards
- Serve as liaison to strategic customers, tracking satisfaction and building long-term relationships
- Support adoption of customer management tools and systems, ensuring clean data and proper utilization
- Take ownership of export documentation and compliance requirements for the site
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of customer service experience in a business-to-business or manufacturing setting
- 3+ years of leadership or supervisory experience
- Experience with ERP systems
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with process improvement tools or lean methodology is a plus
- Bachelor's degree preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered
