Job Summary
The Commercial Lines Service Manager will lead and manage a 14-member Commercial Client Service team to ensure efficient operations, high-quality service, and alignment with agency goals. Oversee team development, departmental processes, compliance, and collaboration with internal partners to support growth and client retention.
Key Responsibilities
- The Commercial Lines Service Manager will manage daily operations and the performance of the Commercial Client Service team.
- Monitor workflows, ensure service quality, and drive process improvements.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Claims to support business objectives.
- The Commercial Lines Service Manager will handle client and carrier escalations professionally and promptly.
- Lead recruitment, performance management, and team development.
- Track progress on departmental initiatives and strategic goals.
- Oversee onboarding and ongoing training for service staff.
- The Commercial Lines Service Manager will promote a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
- Conduct audits and feedback sessions to support improvement.
- Ensure adherence to internal policies, regulatory requirements, and carrier standards.
- The Commercial Lines Service Manager will assess vendors and explore new technologies to enhance service efficiency.
- Stay informed on industry trends and regulatory changes.
Qualifications & Skills
- The Commercial Lines Service Manager must have a bachelor's degree.
- Must have 7+ years in Commercial insurance (customer service), including 3+ in a leadership role.
- Must have NYS P&C license
- Strong client service, communication, and organizational skills.
- The Commercial Lines Service Manager must be proficient in Microsoft Office
- Applied EPIC experience a plus.
