LHH is actively looking for a Customer Service Manager for a retail distribution company in the Downers Grove area. The ideal candidate would have experience leading and developing a small team, is comfortable doing the day to day work of the department, and has a track record of collaborating across departments to ensure overall organization success. Experience working within a retail and e-commerce is a must.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and coaching to assure that all employees succeed in meeting individual performance goals as well as career growth
- Establish performance benchmarks and hold team to those goals
- Resolve customer conflicts and handle escalation procedures
- Ensure that all parties are meeting contractual agreements
- Work crossfunctional to resolve delays, streghten proceedures, and investigate product quality issues
- Develop and implement departmental best practices
- Additional duties as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of customer service experience in an ecommerce or distribution setting
- 2+ years of leadership experience
- CPG or food experience a plus
- Analystical mindset
- ERP system experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
