Pay Rate: $30.36 to $37.37 per hour
Your Role: Customer Service with Impact in Aerospace PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a dedicated and driven
Customer Service professional to join our team supporting the aerospace industry. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that customer inquiries are handled efficiently, professionally, and in alignment with our high standards of service. You'll be at the forefront of customer relations, where your excellent communication and organizational skills will directly contribute to customer satisfaction and the success of our business operations.
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
What You'll Do: As a
Customer Service Representative , your responsibilities will include:
- Customer Account Management: Manage multiple customer accounts and ensure exceptional service is provided across the board.
- Contract Management & Logistics: Review contracts for accuracy, resolve discrepancies, and ensure compliance with internal policies and federal regulations.
- Order Processing: Process customer orders from Purchase Orders, create accurate quotes, and handle special queries or redirect them to appropriate departments.
- Communication: Engage with both internal and external customers, maintaining professionalism in both written and verbal communication.
- Data & Document Management: Manage and update customer and order files through SharePoint and other tools, ensuring all information is accurate and accessible.
- Problem-Solving: Identify trends, address potential risks related to contract changes, and suggest solutions to improve processes.
- Contract Documentation: Help standardize contract language, and maintain knowledge of products and services to provide accurate support to customers.
- Special Projects: Assist with various projects that align with the needs of the team and the business.
What We're Looking For: Required Qualifications: - Education: High School Diploma, AA/AS degree, or equivalent 2-year post-high school training
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years of relevant customer service experience, or 6 years of experience in lieu of education requirements
- Aerospace Knowledge: Experience in the aerospace industry and familiarity with SAP , FAR/DFAR knowledge is recommended
Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with SAP software
- Strong background in reviewing and interpreting contracts and purchase orders
- Excellent ability to manage and approve customer purchase orders
