The individual selected for this PART TIME role will be working at Store 708004, located at: 3281 S Higuera St, San Luis Obispo, CA 93401.
As a Customer Service Expert, you will play a vital role in assisting both wholesale and retail customers. Your primary responsibilities will involve understanding their needs, addressing their inquiries about Sherwin-Williams products, and providing suitable recommendations. You will also be responsible for resolving customer concerns promptly, ensuring that each client enjoys the highest level of satisfaction.
Additionally, you will stay updated on product features, maintain the visual and quality standards of the store, and strive to meet sales objectives while delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through exceptional sales service.
- Assist customers in person and over the phone, determining their needs and presenting appropriate products and services.
- Build and maintain productive trust relationships with both wholesale and retail customers.
- Process sales transactions accurately and in accordance with company policies.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.
- Maintain precise work order files and formulas.
- Obtain products from the sales floor or warehouse as needed.
- Mix and tint products to meet customer specifications.
- Organize shelves and set up visually appealing displays.
- Keep store equipment clean and orderly.
- Load and unload delivery trucks as necessary.
- Assist with deliveries when required.
- Maintain designated areas in stock and presentable condition.
- Stay knowledgeable about products and discuss options with customers.
- Follow inventory control procedures diligently.
- Suggest innovative ways to improve sales.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future.
- Must be able to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English.
- Must be able to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in Spanish.
- Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
- Must be able to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks, lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Must be willing to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A High School diploma or GED is preferred.
- At least one (1) year of experience in a delivery, retail, or customer service role is highly desirable.
- Previous experience in selling paint or paint-related products is advantageous.
- Familiarity with operating tinting and mixing equipment is a plus.
