Job Title: Customer Service Representative
Location: Cavetown, Maryland
Job Type: Full-Time
Position Overview The Customer Service Representative (CSR) will serve as the primary point of contact for our client's customers. This role is critical in managing order processing, resolving issues, and ensuring a smooth and professional experience for clients. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, customer-focused, and familiar with manufacturing or industrial environments. This is a direct hire role. It is full-time and fully in office. Salary is between $45-50k, dependent on experience.
Key Responsibilities - Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and in-person promptly and professionally
- Process sales orders, returns, and exchanges using ERP or order management systems
- Coordinate with production, shipping, and sales teams to ensure on-time delivery and order accuracy
- Investigate and resolve complaints or issues related to products, shipping, or billing
- Maintain accurate customer records and documentation
- Assist with generating quotes and tracking order status
- Provide product and service information as needed
- Participate in internal meetings to report on customer feedback and service trends
- Support other administrative tasks as required
Qualifications - High school diploma or equivalent required
- 2+ years of customer service experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
