Your Key Duties and Responsibilities You will be engaged in a variety of essential tasks that may take place inside or outside the restaurant:
- Complete all required training, including:
- Front of House Development Program
- Hands-on Station Training
- Any additional training mandated by Zax LLC
- Deliver friendly, enthusiastic service to all guests
- Welcome guests with a smile and express gratitude as they leave
- Stay updated on current promotions
- Explain menu items and make helpful suggestions
- Represent the Zaxbys brand with enthusiasm
- Accurately take and enter guest orders
- Process payments and maintain cash register accuracy
- Ensure cleanliness and safety in guest areas including dining room, restrooms, and exterior
- Maintain equipment and communicate maintenance needs
- Restock condiments, paper goods, serve ware, and drinks
- Prepare items safely and according to company standards
- Observe food and beverage handling regulations
- Assist with kitchen duties as needed
- Complete all tasks efficiently and safely
- Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications - Must be at least 16 years old
- Availability to work 32 to 40 hours per week
Physical Requirements - Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods
- Occasional bending, stooping, crouching, or climbing
- Frequently lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds
- Continuous use of hands and wrists
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to maintain awareness of surroundings
- Work in varying temperatures, both indoor and outdoor
- Operate restaurant equipment safely, including knives and fryers
